The Host Arrangement
An ILO Arrangement is different for everyone. As a Host, you might share your own home, or you might share a rental property.
You are not a "carer" in the traditional sense. You are a primary support person who shares daily life. This might involve:
- Sharing meals and cooking together
- Providing emotional support and guidance
- Helping with life skills like budgeting or laundry
- Connecting with community events and family
Bahloo Country provides ongoing training, cultural support, and regular check-ins to ensure the arrangement works for everyone.
